Sarah is a PACFA registered Psychotherapist/Counsellor (ABN: 71 929 800 101) with various experience in both community and corporate sector. She values genuine connection, therapeutic safety, trust building and maintenance. She works with individuals impacted by complex trauma, mental health, and social barriers, which often impacts psychological safety, physical health, social interaction and/or maintaining financial stability. As an Approved NSW Victim Service Counsellor, she continuously supports individuals and families impacted by crime (e.g., Domestic Violence, Assault, Childhood Abuse, Workplace Bullying). She applies evidence base integrative therapeutic model to identify and implement practical, realistic, and sustainable strategies to thrive beyond surviving. These evidence-based intervention includes Trauma-Informed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Coaching and Mentoring. Sarah supports individuals and families requiring both counselling and case management support to ensure advocacy and referral pathways are created for full wrap around support. This is because Sarah believes, “some of us may have the Will Power to want or make changes, however, without additional support, resources, and tools we often become limited to have ‘Way Power’ to overcome our challenges”. Sarah speaks Kriol and Mandingo in addition to English.
