Repeat Scripts & Referrals
We have an online repeat script & referral request system for existing patients. This service will provide easy access for repeat prescription/referral without consultation via our website or the AMS Connect App. Please allow up to 4 business days for the request to be processed. A non-rebatable service fee of $25 will be charged as this service is not covered by Medicare.
Who is eligible?
This service is available for patients who have attended the practice in the previous twelve (12) months AND have their medications/referrals previously approved, but are due for a renewal.
This service is available for medications that have been approved and prescribed to you within the last 12 months by this practice and due for renewal.
Note: We are unable to provide certain medications listed as below:
Drug of addiction (Any pain relief/opiates/benzodiazepine)
ADHD/Autism/Mental health Condition medication
Nerve Pain medication
Weight control medications (i.g. Ozempic, Saxenda)
This service is available for patients who have attended the practice and ALSO for referrals issued previously within the last 12 months due for renewal.
Note: All referrals cannot be BACKDATED.
How can I request my scripts/referrals?
Simply visit our booking page or download the AMS Connect App, and our team will take care of the rest. With our help, you'll get the care you need, when you need it.
Please check the script you have and ensure that your pharmacist is not holding your repeat scripts before you order.
How it works....
Your regular doctor will review your requests and decide if an ongoing script/referral is relevant and safe for you.
You will receive an SMS regarding approval / decline of request within 24 hours. If approved, you will be charged automatically from the credit card you provided during the request. (Surcharges apply for all credit card payments)
We will send your script/referral via your proposed method within 1-3 business days.
You will receive your script/referral within 4 business days.
In the case where your order is declined, you may be asked to come in for an appointment to ensure proper healthcare management. You will receive a clear "declined" message and please kindly contact us via phone, Whatsapp, email or the contact form and we can provide further assistance. No payment will be processed until your request has been approved.
Your request will only be completed by your regular doctor at our clinic. If your nominated doctor is unavailable, another doctor will review your request.

Collect prescription from Clinic
Send ePrescription directly to your nominated pharmacy

Receive referral to your email address
Collect referral from Clinic
FAX it directly to your specialist
Payment can be done through the Automed system when booking or via the phone if you request it manually. There will be a 1.8% surcharge + 35c processing fee for all credit card payments.
