Dr Danae Lim is a Qualified Cosmetic Doctor with full experience in Non-Surgical Rejuvenation, and she is also the Co-founder of the Australasian College of Asian Aesthetics. Dr Lim graduated from medical school at the University of Sydney. She did her first medical training with the Hunter New England Area Health Network in various specialties before moving on to the Greater Southern Area Health Network as an Emergency Medical Officer for over eight years. After several years in Emergency Medicine, Dr Lim then pursued a career in Cosmetic Medicine, with full experience in non-surgical rejuvenation, including anti-wrinkle, dermal filler injections and thread lifts, and developing her own skincare line. She also co-founded the Australasian College of Asian Aesthetics to raise practice and safety standards in the cosmetic industry. Dr Lim has been collaborating with plastic surgeons, dermatologists and other cosmetic doctors to implement dedicated small-group hands-on training for doctors only. Furthermore, she has developed the training for adverse event reporting, streamlining severe adverse event management arising from cosmetic practice, and patient education regarding risks of cosmetic procedures. Dr Lim is the First Vice President of the Australasian Medical Services Coalition in the community. Dr Lim speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese in addition to English.
